Yesterday, Electronic Arts had said that they would not make the game offline anymore. Now Electronic Arts COO Peter Moore clarifies this by saying that not all EA games need Internet connection.
"Many of our games have a single-player mode and offline mode that you can play without the need of an Internet connection," said Moore. "We knew it was desired by gamers and we will continue to provide it."
For example, The Sims 4 will also will not need an Internet connection to be played. In addition, EA also still studying the option of free-to-play for their games.
"Many of our major games such as Battlefield, Need for Speed, FIFA, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Plants vs. Zombies, and Madden NFL already has a selection of free-to-play," he continued. "But that does not mean all EA games will have a fashion free-to-play."
Moore said that although EA will continue to try different experiences free-to-play in their franchise, but they still will give you the experience of playing in the major franchise for the fans.
