Allzeit bereit are two words you almost certainly haven’t come across but are important to remember, particularly if you love outdoor pursuits like hunting or fishing. This phrase means “always prepared” in German. Do not be surprised if that sounds familiar, as it is the motto of the Scout Movement founded by the late Rober Baden-Powell.

When you’re far away from home on an outdoor adventure, it pays to be consistently prepared. Primary items you should not forget include several meals, a flashlight, sleeping gear, matches or lighter, maps or compass, and a multi-purpose blade set. If you’re hunting, carry a gun set; and if you’re fishing, a fishing pole set. Besides these, there are two other useful things you need to take for your hunting or fishing adventure.

Fishing pole holder
Picture flinging your fishing line into the water, then sitting down and patiently waiting. Even though you’re accustomed to waiting while holding that fishing pole, doesn’t it get tiring at times? Or maybe it’s taking such a long time for that bass to bite but you can’t put down your fishing pole.

If that’s your concern, then a fishing pole rest is your solution. Visualize a tripod carrying your camera to take a few photos, only it’s to secure your fishing pole in place. Undo the screws and let the legs fold out, and then position the cap down to firm up the legs and stretch the pole up. You fix your fishing pole and you’re now free-the fishing pole holder does the waiting for you right up until a fish gets the bait!

Rifle rest
What if you see a deer, and you take your stance. You bend and ready your arms to direct your gun and anticipate the perfect moment. While you’re used to doing that, it helps if you have a rifle or gun rest to help you faultlessly direct your shot and strike your target.

Much like a fishing pole holder, a rifle rest supports and secures your gun. With this, you can center on the animal, not bother about your arms feeling fatigued from holding your rifle, then shoot. You could have greater chances when your arms are stable and your grasp is secure.

A rifle rest and fishing pole holder are convenient outdoor accessories if you want a trouble-free time hunting or fishing. In this way, you enjoy the outdoors and experience a really relaxing adventure. Read more about rifle rests and fishing pole holders at
