Statistical data on Arab countries

the problem with arab countries statistics is that they are always some 3 years late - 2010 for now - Unfortunately, I don't know  where to search for more recent data; arab government sites are always quite poor of information or information is available only in arabic, or not availabke at all. (cfr. the UN site where you can a list called "counrty data servces" which offers link to national statistical services; most of which are not available - however a UN counrty profile is available:
Hence I would avoid to go and search for single country information; it would be extremely time consuming abd data would be hardly comparable; So I would trust usual well established sources like world bank (see some examples below)
or our databanks (Global Insight and don't forget Europa world plus which also offer standard data)
Finally the Arab Contemporary affairs revue that we do subscribe ( in each issue offers a statistical file by subject (the last is on agriculture, the previous one was on financial statistic, etc...) with indicators and some analyses.
