Venice is a popular city in northeast Italy. This city is full of attractions. Every year thousand of visitors come here to visit Venice. There are numerous attraction like Piazza San Marco, the Basilica, the Doge's Palace, the Grand Canal, the Bridge of Sighs, the Rialto bridge, the Arsenale, Ca d'Oro, Campanile di San Marco, Accademia, Peggy Guggenheim Museum, the other islands (Murano, Burano, Lido etc.), and the many beautiful churches, campos, and palazzi.

Venice is a perfect place for family and sightseeing tours to romantic honeymoons. First time visitors may at first be surprised that the main way of getting around venice on foot. Venice is famous for its glass-work known as Venetian glass. Some of the most important brands of glass in the world today are still produced in the historical glass factories on Murano. Today Murano remains a destination for tourists and art and jewellery lovers alike. Now Venice became one of the most important musical centers of Europe.

Some of the most outstanding art galleries and museums in the city include the Marciano Museum, the Archaeological Museum (Museo Archeologico), the Accademia Gallery and the Contini Gallery. Today, the Palazzo Mocenigo is called home by a modest museum, with a collection of clothing, antiquities and period furnishings.

The city has various churches, landmarks and historical sights to see and large no of activities to do for visitors. It is also a great place for lovers as well as learning institutions. No car or any other vehicle are required to travel within the city you can travel entire city on your own foot.
