XP Mode for Windows Home Versions

How does this work? There is main reason that why Vista and window 7 home premiums cannot run XP Mode, the reason behind that is these are not licensed for run XP Mode because When you download free XP Mode from Microsoft and chose Home premium on the XP Mode Download site then you can see this message. You know that if you are running windows 7 Home Premium or Vista then there is also no link for importing the XP Mode in VMware Player. You can create the XP Mode with free VMware Player just in one condition if you have legal copy of Windows XP. Here we will tell you about how you can get virtual copy of XP running at any system it can be windows 7 Home Premium or  Windows Vista .Getting StartedTo start it you need to download and install VMware Player.

Here it just needs registration. There are some prompts when you install the drivers but these were in the past version you just need to prove them and there is nothing like this in the new versions. So there is need to restart the system when you will finish install VM Player.Create your own XP ModeNow after restart the system just inserts Windows XP CD and start VMware Player. This is work for all the edition of XP but our example is about  Windows XP  Professional,Open the VM Player and do tick on “Create a New Virtual Machine” in the right pane. Now after clicking on the above link, Windows XP CD will be detected by VMware automatically and ask about installing that do you want to install it with easy install. After this you just need 5 ticks to install it. Do tick next to continueOn the next window you need to enter the XP window key then name and password of your choice, here we are using XP Mode as name. Now on the next window you will see operating system name and default location for saving the files. You can change this location if not than just do tick on next. Here you have to choose the size of the virtual hard drive. You can see in the snapshot, 40 GB is default selected in this case but you can change this range.

Here the important thing is that entire 40 GB will not be taken up on your hard drive because just 1.4 GB is needed for clean install. Now at this step all the settings have done and if you want to change in any thing you can otherwise click on finish to start installing XP.Now the VMware starts and you are free to click while XP is full install. Installer and format virtual hard drive will run automatically. You can see XP files copies to hard drive,Complete the installEach and everything is doing automatically and will take just 20 minutes to install. Afte that you have your own windows XP desktop for useEach and everything is doing automatically and will take just 20 minutes to install. After that you have your own windows XP desktop for use,When you will install you will see VMware installer which will integrate virtual XP with your system and this tool is automatically launched by VMware.
