      For Mega Shark to accelerate to 709.2km/h in 1500m he would have to exert 6,216,600N for the full 7.61s it would take him to reach the surface 1500m away the acceleration he would need to get from 0m/s to 197m/s in 1500m would be 25.89m/s². I arrived at this solution with:

      V= d/t                a = V/t                F = ma
      Vt = d                a = (197m/s)/(7.61s)   F = (240000kg)(25.89m/s²)
      t = V/d               a = 29.89m/s²          F = 6213600N
      t = (1500m)/(197m/s)
      t = 7.61s

      He's right, planes normally cruise at 30,000 feet. Hitting water at 80 feet is the same as hitting cement. And if it takes your shark 20 seconds to reach that height from when it leaves the water, then take into consideration the time it took him from once spotting it to swim down to the depth of 1500m, then swim to the top, and then do its 20 second jump the whole possess would most likely take over a minute. The plane would be several miles away by then.

      Are you fucking kidding me. Falling from that distance alone would kill your stupid little made up shark, And planes move you know that right...so unless your shark can learn to lead targets that are at an unknown distance traveling at an unknown speed it's going to do it's one time only little hop, miss completely, and die when it hits the water.

      Frankly, I am delighted. According to my calculations, if megashark were cruising at that speed, the friction of his body would heat the water directly around him to well past the boiling point. This means that every time megashark cruised by at death in the skies speed, he would leave a wake of yummy, boiled shrimps! I say "Megashark gumbo is a go!"
