Every business always has a need for an efficient and effective strategy system. For instance without an efficient strategy system in place no one would be able to convey the exact time of delivery of goods to customers.

Fuel truck OBC (on board computer) is a new and efficient system for customer service. This is designed specifically for petroleum delivery fleets. Literally speaking, this is mainly co-related with track mounted computer and back office connection. These type industrial wireless controls are made by professional engineers with years of experience in fuel delivery automation and control. This is an absolutely new and efficient way to track things that related to industrial automation.

The delivery time mentioned to customers would only be an estimated time and there by only would be an approximate time. This is because it is impossible to find out the position of goods location at a fixed time for tracking and monitoring without an efficient tracking system.

Product Reconciliation system:

Fuel truck OBC system has seamless and reliable interface for electronic registers. Now professional engineers have collaborated with register manufacturers to deliver a high performance link between their register back offices. Now loading rack volumes are captured and reconciled against a detailed sales transaction record using personal informative database. The system is really user friendly with customer account detail. The main thing is a detailed delivery ticket is produced for each delivery and an electronic version of every transaction is uploaded wirelessly to the back office.

Improved Product Security:

The system has excellent and improved product security system. The operator is required to scan a customer tank mounted RFID tag prior to pump engagement when it is ordered with optional ProControl 2 handheld. The customers address and account information is automatically displayed as the truck enters the customer’s yard.

The driver confirms the customer location and prepares to make his product release. The operator can scan the RFID tag attached to the customer’s tank and the tag data is sent wirelessly back to the truck up to 1000ft away. There is an ‘authorization’ note is transferred back to the handheld display allowing the operator to initiate the delivery, If the customer account information contained on the RFID tag corresponds with the trucks current GPS coordinates and database customer information.

So any attempt to unload product without any match between database and RFID tag data is red flagged there is an exception report is generated in the delivery record showing the operators name, time of day, volume unloaded, and place. This exception report can also be emailed or sent by text to appropriate supervisory personnel.

Back office Integration and Deployment

Generally every fleet operation is dissimilar. There are several trucks, different delivery process, and several back office accounting and management tools. Fuel truck OBC is specially assigned with a dedicated deployment expert to ensure the exchange of data between truck and back office is robust and usable. The professionals have years of experience translating truck operational data to accounting and fleet management systems.
