We all appreciate the conveniences which DVD discs bring into our lives i.e. carrying large volumes of data yet having a very low capacity/cost ratio.

What we may not know is that the polycarbonate layers which are used to make DVDs are derived from the threatened natural resource, oil, while the medium used for binding these polycarbonate layers is non-biodegradable and toxic.

It is with these concerns that we at have now adopted the environmentally-friendly option, ecodisc. We invite our existing and new clients to also adopt ecodiscs for the sake of conserving our environment and also for the benefits that these devices present.

The ecodisc is flexible as it features one polycarbonate layer instead of two. This means that it is lightweight and therefore helps to accumulate considerable savings with regards to transportion and postal charges. Ecodiscs feature the same optical and electrical properties as conventional discs and hence the quality of these discs contents will not be compromised in any way.
