M&M Catering Equipment have announced that they have a new batch of quality second hand catering equipment for sale.

Having recently stripped out the kitchen of a well known blue chip company, the Bridgend based catering equipment suppliers now have a wealth of great new items on offer.

In excess of thirty or so items, the new catering equipment is generally larger second hand catering appliances such as ovens, fryers and microwaves.

All in great quality, the longstanding kitchen equipment suppliers have a ready access to images, should anyone wish to see them. They also say that the items are free to browse at their base in South Wales.

The equipment has been taken from reputable and dependable brands such as Moorwood Vulcan, Falcon and Panasonic.

As well as the large catering appliance items, they have also added yet again to their burgeoning stock of second hand stainless steel tables and sinks.

Greatly varying in size and design, the units are all in great condition, ready to be repurposed in a new home. Also, with a choice of single, double or triple under shelves available, there should be the right item to suit any catering business.

With prices to be confirmed, managing director Steven Morris explains the appeal of secondhand catering equipment by saying, “We have been catering equipment suppliers for a long time, and we have noticed a great deal of interest in refurbished catering equipment lately.

“In terms of the current economic climate, this is completely understandable and not unexpected.

“Our day to day business dealings are regularly spent discussing the merits and benefits that 2nd hand catering equipment can bring. Often, people will bring in price lists of brands that we don’t touch and they will show us prices for new equipment and will be incredulous when we tell them our second hand prices can sometimes be comparable.

“The problem is explaining why prices between new &used catering equipment can be comparable. The answer is fairly simple however; in the catering business, the manufacturer and brand is everything.

“It would be easy for us to deal in cheap, knocked together equipment to make a quick sale, but we refuse to sell a dud as that is not how we have built our reputation.

“We only deal in a select few brands that we know through nearly twenty five years experience will give long lasting, dependable results, time and time again. This is why this latest batch of equipment is so exciting for us. It was all great stuff by some of the best names in catering.”

The list of equipment is as follows:

  • 12 x stainless steel tables (various sizes, various undershelves and gantry formations)
  • 1x Waste disposal
  • 2 x fully automatic coffee machines
  • 6 x Storage racks (various sizes)
  • 1 x Falcon Double Fryer
