The St. Francis of Assisi Church – the beautiful church is lime plastered and the statue of St. Francis is made out of wood. The statue of our lady of Miracles is brought from Sri Lanka. Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary - covering 240sq. kms, it is a rich paradise for bird watchers. It is also known for its leopard, elephants, deers and Indian bison. Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary – It is the smallest of all and spread around 8sq km. It is a famous picnic spot also. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and Catigao Wildlife Sanctuary are the other famous wildlife sanctuaries.
