Macau is located in close proximity to Hong Kong and vacationers from across the globe prefer spending a day in this splendid, former Portuguese colony, before going back. If not that, then, make sure, you climb up the stairs and enjoy the scenic view from top. The area around Guan Yin statue is yet another must visit.


The statue is made of bronze and is as high as 20 feet above the building shaped like a lotus bud. Similar to the Virgin Mary statue, this was designed by Portuguese artist, Christina Rocha Leiria. You will be amazed by the architecture and the work of art here. Macau tower is other must visit place. Also known as' Macau Sky Tower, it is around 338 meters from ground level to the highest point. You have to visit the tower, climb to its top and enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire city. Inside this tower, you can also find restaurants, theaters, shopping malls and the Skywalk X. The tourists can walk around the outside edge of this building. There are many good Macau hotels located close by to this tower. You can easily relax and unwind in any of these lodgings and head back to Hong Kong!
