DCE Certified Industrial Wireless Leak Detection System

DCE Certified industrial wireless transport leak detection system is basically designed for propane, anhydrous ammonia and butane transports. This is a DCE certified system designed to comply with all US DOT and Canadian Transport Canada regulations for ‘Passive Shut Off’. These systems continually monitor the off-loading process looking for a rapid change in discharge pressure. These systems are able to detect a separated hose or failed connection and can close the tank internal valve within 1/2 second.

Here are some specifications of wireless industrial leak detection system:

• The passive Leak Detection System incorporates a functional ‘Test’ button. The Test button is used as a way to determine the unit’s readiness

• LDS System is easy to install and it requires no calibration or adjustment

• Systems activate automatically by opening the internal valve or pipe guard

• Options include multi-pipe or multi-trailer sensors, automatic truck engine or PTO shut-down

• Auxiliary control panel available for LDS100 and LSD200 systems to allow drivers’ side unloading control

Leak Detection System is available with following three models:

Model LDS 60: It is a fully automatic leak detection system used for propane and anhydrous ammonia transports. This system has been designed as well as tested by the certified Engineers in order to meet the compliance requirements of U.S. Hm225A and Canadian B620 regulations. This is a low powered control unit that is used to continually monitor all the piping and hose assemblies during the off-loading process. A failed pipe, or hose separation will cause the tank’s internal valve to close instantly and sound an audible back-up alarm. A simple “reset” button returns the unit to the monitoring state.

Model LDS 100: This model is designed by the professional engineers for using specifically in LPG and Anhydrous Ammonia bulk transfer. This is a trailer mounted unit which continually monitors the off-loading process for “rate of change” parameters signifying broken or damaged hoses, fittings and piping. It can detect a leak instantly and can stop by the closure of the tank internal valves. The system can also shut the truck’s engine and disengage the PTO if desired. This ensures that the system is fully operational and helps reduce the possibility of a damaged cargo pump due to product run out. This unit also “fails safe” and closes the entire internal valve with a loss of power or the release of the trailer parking brakes.

Model LDS 200AQRF:

This model is designed to comply with all the DOT requirements for transports with both ‘metered’ and ‘bulk’ discharge capability. This model also combines all of the features described above for the LDS100 but includes a handheld with remote control ‘Query’ and ‘Emergency Stop’ buttons. An audible alarm is also available that sounds in every 4:30 seconds giving the operator 30 seconds to respond by pushing the ‘Query’ button.
