It is an important link if you are travelling to Lahaul valley. Lahaul Spiti is a beautiful valley with some breath taking views. The Buddhist monasteries in Dharamshala are world famous. Buddhists all over the world, come to see this place. If you are a wild life lover, there is a lot you can visit. The great Himalayan National Park is one of most prominent national parks in Himachal. Manikaran is another famous holy spot for Hindus and Sikhs. The place is famous for hot sulphur springs. Narkanda which is at a height of 2708 meters offers a great view of snow ranges, people visit this place as this place offers seek seclusion in mountains. People interesting in skiing and winter sports also visit this place to enjoy themselves.

Another beautiful state in north India is Uttrakhand. Adventure and religious tourism plays vital role in Uttrakhand's economy. It is called the land of gods due to abundance of temples and shrines throughout the state. People take chardham yatra in the hopes of salvation and purification from sin.
