Many people want to know how a handicap bathtub door stops the water from leaking out of the walk in bath. The water tight door seal system on the handicap bathtubs forms a hydrostatic seal when compressed by latching the door. Additionally, the weight of water inside the walk in bath further compresses the door seal making it completely leak proof & it’s guaranteed for life.

EZ Access is one of the only walk in bath companies that have UL, ETL & IAPMO safety ratings and certifications.

The handicapped tubs can also be used as a shower as the Roman tub faucet set comes with a hand-held shower head which mounts onto the deck of the handicap bath tub and can also be mounted easily on the wall to use as a shower.

Installation is very easy since the handicap bathtubs fit into a traditional 60” tub space & most models include an extension kit. All walkin bath tubs come in both right and left hand models.

The installer will need one dedicated 20 amp circuit on a GFI. Complete installation instructions and a Product Manual are provided with all handicapped bath tubs.

EZ Access walk-in handicapped tubs are covered by a 15 year complete and comprehensive warranty. In addition to the 15 year warranty, you also have a LIFETIME guarantee on the door seal of the walk in baths.
