Transport industrial wireless leak detection system is specifically designed for propane, anhydrous ammonia, industrial petroleum and butane industry. This is a DCE certified industrial wireless technology that can comply with all types of US DOT and Canadian Transport Canada regulations for passive shut off. This system continually monitors the off-loading process looking for a rapid change in discharge pressure as the system use unique technology. But when the system are using in a standard passive Transport system, they can detect a separate hose or failed connection and close the tank interval valve within half second.

When the system starts to determine the readiness of the unit then generally the wireless industrial passive Leak detection system incorporates a functional “Test” button. The great thing is that the systems are easy to install. And for that no calibration or adjustment is needed. One can easily activate this system automatically by opening the internal valve or pipe guard. Besides, this option also includes multi-pipe or multi-trailer sensors, automatic truck engine or PTO shut down. From the manufacturers, some also offer an auxiliary control panel available for automatic Leak detection systems to allow drivers’ side unloading control.

These industrial wireless systems are widely used in propane, anhydrous ammonia, industrial petroleum and butane industry. As you know that they mainly use low-powered micro-computer controlled leak detection as well as shut down system. Normal type of plug and play component is required for the installation and it can be done within the period of two hours. 12 Volt DC power/ground connections are used as a standard power supply for the system.

The air supply to the internal valve can activate the system. An intrinsically safe pressure transducer is used as a method of leak detection. It can also detect the partial and complete hose pipe separation. The systems can response with half seconds when a partial or complete pipe leakage is detected. And it also can close a system’s particular or all tank internal valves including cable and air pipes during such a condition arrive. A self test calibration is included in this system so no calibration is required in the installation process of this leak detection system. In order to provide the durability, the total unit is constructed into a non sparking waterproof enclosure.

This industrial wireless technology is designed and certified by the Design Certified engineers in order to meet the compliance requirements of U.S Hm225A and Canadian B620 regulations, though it is mentioned before. You know that it functions in an excellent process. The low powered control unit include in the LDS unit continually monitors piping and hose assemblies during the off-loading process. It will cause the tank’s internal valve to close instantly and sound an audible back up alarm when a failed pipe or hose separation is detected. A simple “reset” button returns the unit to the monitoring state. This is a trailer mounted unit that continually monitors the off-loading process for “rate of change” parameters signifying broken or damaged hoses, fittings and piping.

BASE Engineering designs excellent industrial wireless controls for different engineering and commercial purposes.  Since 1996 over 50,000 BASE systems have been employed around the globe to increase job safety and productivity. As a result of this design effort we have the confidence to offer a four year, no hassle, and replacement warranty on every product we manufacture. Industrial wireless technology, in our hand, has moved into the next level.
