Wireless radio remote control enabled crane service trucks are specially used to improve job site safety by providing the operator the safest vantage point for effective control of the crane. They are one-man controlled industrial wireless controls that greatly eliminate the need for a second person stabilizing the load while guiding its placement. While using the system the operator can enjoy full freedom to move around the work area while setting the load precisely into the position.
Wireless Radio Remote Control Enabled Crane Service Truck is available with four models:
Model ASKR: This is a unique service crane that is mainly developed for all types of crane and service truck applications requiring up to 12 radio remote control functions. All the modular components equipped in the service cranes allow for easy installation with custom wire harness. Wire harness is generally supplied.
The transmitter and the receiver unit together operate on 56 bit digital code that greatly eliminates accidental operation caused by interference from other radio frequency device. The parts replacement is also very easy in this system and one can simply replace the parts by using the quick connect plugs and simple learn button in order to link handheld and the receiver.
The transmitter of ASKR crane service industrial wireless controls is housed in a rugged polycarbonate enclosure and it has a low battery warning indicator with audible alarm and 300hr continuous transmission battery, 12/24VdC charger is also included in this system.
Model FHSR: Model FHSR service cranes are generally developed for crane applications that require interference-free, fail-safe machine control. An operator handheld system and a machine mounted transceiver are equipped in the wireless radio remote control enabled service cranes. Operator handheld and machine mounted transceiver can continuously communicate between them in order to ensure signal validity and strength. The Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum technology ensures the interference free control of the system. During any loss of signal results in all active functions automatically shutting down and failing safe.
Model DSST: Model DSST radio remote control is mainly developed for proportional and non-proportional hydraulic crane applications that require up to twelve radio remote control functions. Toggle switch control of the carne service trucks provides variable speed control of hydraulic pump solenoids. The split signal capability allows combined boom movements including “up and sideways” as well as “extend and winch down”. However the toggle switch controls should always be activated first before trigger switch and speed control will work. The weatherproof receiver can be crane mounted and it easily interfaces to crane electrical systems with OEM style plug-in-connector.
Model ASKW: This is another great wireless radio remote control enabled service cranes that allows up to 8 control functions. Common ‘AA’ type battery is used as a main power supply of the service cranes and once recharged the battery provides 300 hours of continuous use. Transmitter and receiver units operate on 56 bit digital code by eliminating accidental operation.
BASE Engineering designs some great wireless radio remote control systems for different engineering and commercial purposes. Since 1996 over 50,000 BASEsystems have been employed around the globe to increase job safety and productivity. As a result of this design effort we have the confidence to offer a four year, no hassle, and replacement warranty on every product we manufacture. Industrial wireless controls, in our hand, have moved into the next level.
