The 6th edition of IPL is back! Mumbai Indians is definitely one of the strongest teams in the IPL this time around. With chief mentor Anil Kumble and Captian Ricky Ponting, this side just got stronger. And who can forget the formidable Sachin Tendulkar. The current Mumbai Indians team is definitely going to be very difficult to beat.

The IPL is a twenty-twenty format. Each side has 20 overs to play. It is by far the most exciting format of the game. Cricket first started with test matches played against two teams. It was a five-day affair with 90 overs a day being played. The format moved on to One-day Internationals (that started off with 60 overs per innings and then moved on to 50 overs per innings). The 50-over format was very exciting and then came the 20-20 format. This by far is the most exciting form of the game. Each side has just 20 overs to outplay the other team. The best part about T20 cricket is the enthusiasm and the energy. There is a lot of action in a twenty-twenty International. A lot of aggressive batting and bowling. Essentially, this format is more of a batsman's game where (if capable) a batsman can thrash the bowlers like nobody's business. But if a bowler has some really good pace and swing he can control the batsman's aggressiveness. Bowlers such as Dale Steyn, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and many more have the ability to swing the ball and this can make quite a few batsmen uncomfortable.

The game of Cricket has increased a notch when it comes to entertainment value. With the introduction of the Indian Premier League the game has become way too exciting. The IPL is a franchise-based system where players can be bought (auctions) by different team owners. The better the players bought, the better the team. Rajasthan Royals (led by Shane Warne) won the first edition of IPL. The other teams that are a part of the IPL are Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and many more. Each team has some spectacular players and watching the IPL games is a visual treat. It has even got the non-cricket enthusiasts to enjoy the game. That is the beauty of the Indian Premier League. World-renowned players take part in the competition and there are some fierce matches that happen in the league. Cricket players such as Adam Gilchrist, Brendon McCullum and many more have decimated bowlers. It is visual treat to watch players like this in full form.

The Mumbai Indians squad 2013 will include the likes of Ricky Ponting, Glenn Maxwell, Jacob Oram and many more. The Mumbai Indians team for this rendition of the league is definitely much stronger than before. The Mumbai Indians team The best news that the MI has received so far is that the Mumbai Indians captain is going to be Ricky Ponting. He is known for being a fierce leader and it is a surety that he will lead the Mumbai Indians team with ease and composure. Peoples will be crazy to get Mumbai Indians Tickets this Time.
