Beginning at 5 P.M.
“We welcome all to come and celebrate that feeling of warmth and friendship we call 'Gemütlichkeit,' stated Wyley Seals, President of the German American Society of Pinellas Park.
Proceeds from the event benefit the non-profit German American Society of Pinellas County, founded 62 years ago in 1951. The Society is dedicated to “preserve, promote and advance the rich traditions and culture brought to America from German speaking lands.” The group demonstrates this commitment with a lively festival to educate and entertain audiences with German culture. Germany may be a thousands of miles from Tampa Bay, but there's a little bit of the country right here in Florida.
