LUMINEERS are more, and more quickly becoming the treatment option of choice for those seeking cosmetic dental improvement. LUMINEERS not only achieve a complete smile transformation, but they are placed both quickly and comfortably. LUMINEERS make it possible to gain outstanding long-term results. Let’s explore how Dr. Zaibak and team at the Tinley Park dentist place LUMINEERS.
Before LUMINEERS can be placed, it must be clear that teeth are strong enough to support the restorations. To ensure that teeth and gum tissue are healthy enough to undergo treatment, our team will perform a thorough examination of the mouth. If everything looks good, our team will take the next step in the LUMINEERS treatment process.
The next step involves taking an exact mold of the smile. This mold is used to construct the permanent porcelain LUMINEERS. The patient and dental team will work together to conceptualize exactly what the LUMINEERS should look like. Once we’ve decided what the end result will be, the LUMINEERS will be tailored to fit the smile in shape, shade, and size.
The LUMINEERS will be custom build in the DenMat Lab. The LUMINEERS are built to our specifications, and then sent to our office. We will then place them on your teeth during your second appointment which will take place just a few weeks after your initial appointment. Unlike veneers, LUMINEERS don’t require the teeth to be shaved down so the LUMINEERS will be placed immediately, and the treatment process will be complete.
A major benefit of LUMINEERS is that they don’t require post-treatment rehabilitation. Patients love the fact that they are able to jump back into normal routines right away. Normal eating and oral hygiene habits remain the same. LUMINEERS fit seamlessly into daily activities.
It’s quite apparent that the LUMINEERS entire treatment process is quick and comfortable. For any questions on how to obtain that dream smile, contact our Tinley Park dentists right away!
