There are some who think that nothing happens outside of London, probably because of the quip made by Natasha in the rom-com favourite, Bridget Jones’s Diary. Of course, this isn’t the case, perhaps it just seems it because so much is packed in that you have more options that way than a quiet side street in the suburbs. However, we’re a little bit annoyed at the lack of respect or even appreciation the smaller counties get; especially those within close proximity to it But we would like to take a minute or two, that’s not a dig at the activity going on in the county of Sussex but instead a saying, to discuss the best things about residing in this place.
Home to the captivatingly beautiful Brighton, often dubbed London by the Sea, is probably the best known marvel of the county. With the parades of shops, boutiques and other little knick knack shops that people can spend entire weekends in, is what adds to the uniqueness of the place. Not trying to be something it’s not, it’s truly appreciated for being just as individual as it can be, without looking like it’s trying too hard. This can often be the problem with London in which everyone wants to be someone else, and the people they want to be look like they spend far too much time and effort trying to be something that doesn’t come naturally to them. This makes us sad; we are all unique in our own way and we should embrace this, not cover it. Another thing about the Brighton scene is of course the pier. With rides to be ridden, rock to be bought and henna tattoos proudly displayed on the arms, it seriously is a beautiful place to be. And especially since it is home to England’s largest arts festival, the Brighton Festival, it’s an incredibly cultured place. We just wish it was perhaps appreciated a bit more.
The pebbled beach is much favoured not only by locals and tourists, but by anyone who wants to sit for five minutes for a relaxing fish and chip supper. Although the pebbles can certainly hurt under our bare feet, it’s a much more appreciated than the sand that infiltrates absolutely everywhere. From the ring pull on our can, to between our toes. Sometimes we’ve even found some in our ears! It can be a nightmare if you’re forced to sit on sand. And with pebbles, you can always impress the ladies with a skimming contest. Just try not to take out a seagull; it’s not big, and it’s certainly not clever. Speaking of the women, perhaps you’re not in the mood for some greasy fish and chips, instead wanting to sit down for a candlelight dinner with your entire pick of seafood. The sea is right there, after all. If this is true, then head over with no other than one of the beautiful Sussex escorts that are available to you.
