Exercises which are guided by physiotherapists include mouth exercises, facial exercises, and joint exercises that are used to decrease stiffness. They can improve both the physical and mental condition of the patient. Remember, doing the jaw exercises should not feel painful. If the exercises are painful, then you should immediately consult a doctor. Exercises done in the wrong way can also cause the loss of flexibility and can cause stiffness in the joints.
